Here is Dua for Umrah along with its translation and the procedure.
Just like Hajj, Umrah is a holy pilgrimage to the holy city of Makkah, Saudi Arabia. But unlike Hajj which can be performed just once a year and on specific dates, you can go for Umrah at any time of the year. And you can perform more than one Umrahs in a year.
The obligatory things or ‘musts’ of Umrah include wearing of Ihram and doing Tawaf, i.e. making rounds of Ka’ba. Meanwhile, Saii – running between Safa and Marwah – and getting haircut are also the things that all the Muslims do while performing this holy pilgrimage.
Before you make Dua for Umrah, make sure that you are fulfilling your obligations to Almighty Allah and his slaves (humans). If you deliberately miss a prayer or do not give Zakat, the prayer for Umrah may not work. In short, try to be pious to the utmost possible extent.
You can recite verse 27 of chapter 48 (Surah Al-Fath) of the Glorious Quran as the Dua for Umrah. Recite this verse 21 times a day and keep doing so until you observe the hopeful signs to go there.
The Urdu translation of this prayer is already given. Here is its English translation. “Certainly, Allah has showed to His Messenger (Hazrat Muhammad peace be upon him) the vision in truth. You will surely enter al-Masjid al-Haram, if Allah wills, in safety, with your heads shaved and [hair] shortened, not fearing [anyone]. He knew what you did not know and (He) has arranged before that a conquest near [at hand].”
